A New Breed of Law Firm

Monday July 28, 2008

A new breed of law firm offers another alternative for lawyers seeking a better work-life balance. This new type of firm supplies talented, experienced attorneys to big-name companies on an as-needed basis, frequently at significant discounts to law firm rates, according to a recent Wall Street Journal article. Lawyers wanting to jump off the traditional track and carve out more personal time for family or other interests can take temporary assignments through this new business model. Lawyers still make great money but work fewer hours and gain a broad range of experience.
