Sally is an attorney and freelance writer specializing in legal, career and business topics. She has published hundreds of career-related articles in print and web-based media and serves as a writer and editor for Litigation Support Today and Legal Assistant Today. Her latest project is a legal careers book to be published by Delmar, Cengage Learning.

Experience:

With more than a decade of experience in the legal services industry, Sally has worked as a legal secretary, paralegal, litigation support professional, law clerk and attorney. Sally also founded a legal nurse consulting firm with two experienced nurses and worked briefly in the field of legal nurse consulting. She has worked in many practice settings including large and small law firms, corporate legal departments, insurance companies and the judiciary. Working in these diverse legal positions and work environments has given Sally a unique, insiders' perspective on many careers in the law.

Education:

Sally holds a bachelor's degree in writing from Edinboro University (cum laude) and a paralegal certificate (summa cum laude) from Duquesne University. She also holds a Juris Doctorate degree from Duquesne University School of Law where she served as an editor of the Duquesne Law Review.
